- Reduce Plant Disease Occurrence! We observe our crops for disease, remove unhealthy plants and rotate crops.
- Protect our Watershed! We never user petrochemicals that contaminate the water supply.
- Educate the Community! We are open to the public and schools for public and private tours. We connect new people to local agriculture every year by participating in the annual HarvestFEST farm tour. Through our internship program, we share our local sustainable farming techniques and empower individuals to think global and act local.
- Protect our Foodshed! We actively lobby for legislation that supports local agriculture, actively participate on the Pierce County FARM board, attend community garden events, farm tours, and festivals and we support the Tacoma Food Co-op.
